Prior to her graduate training at New York University, she worked as a psychiatric registered nurse specializing in community mental health in underserved communities in New York City. She experienced firsthand what a difference empathy and collaboration make in helping clients achieve optimal wellness. She went on to complete her master’s degree in psychiatric mental health nursing to be able to provide more comprehensive care, including medication management.
“My goal is for my clients to feel welcomed, accepted, and safe during our appointments. It can be intimidating to share your innermost thoughts, worries, and symptoms, so it is my job to help you feel comfortable and help you on your journey toward feeling better! Our first appointment will be a one-hour intake with many important questions about your past and present symptoms. From there, we will partner together to create a treatment plan that will comprehensively address both your short-term and long-term goals.”
